My desire for more vibrancy and originality, plus the ability to do more with my accessories were my inspiration for creating the boutique. This continues to influence every stage of my creative process, along with my pledge to 'Slow Fashion' and the ability to make environmentally conscious choices wherever and whenever I can throughout my production process. From the selectively sourced raw materials to the beautiful finished product you hold in your hands, every item in the collection is intentionally curated, custom designed and handcrafted by me. I am also very selective about the prints I use and source most of my fabrics from Ghana (once or twice a year) for the quality and vibrancy, paying fair trade pricing and supporting their local small business markets. Some of my fabrics are also sourced through travels and bought locally, either by myself or through friends and family. Each collections is produced at my home studio in small batches, allowing customers the option to purchase items on backorder to meet demand while avoiding overproduction and waste. I've also designed small scale, lower priced items for my collections to compliment my handbags while ensuring most, if not all of the fabric I purchase are being used. Original designs, high quality prints and finishing touch details like my signature design stitching or beautiful gold hardware makes each piece a limited edition work of art. Every detail and intentional design contributes to the beauty and value of these original pieces.
